Ray's Metal Works Inc. has been proudly serving as a family-owned sheet metal company for more than 50 years. Located in Alachua, Florida, Ray's Metal Works has been working on projects across the state of Florida and many other locations throughout the Southeastern United States with a dedication to producing quality work.
Ray's Metal Works was founded in 1973 by Ray Burnsed Sr., who has more than 60 years of sheet metal experience. He is actively involved in the company, serving as CEO. His son, Ray Burnsed Jr., serves as president and his grandson Benjamin Burnsed serves as vice president.
Our services include commercial and industrial HVAC ductwork, commercial and industrial exhaust systems, custom fabrication, maintenance contracts for manufacturing facilities, and additional steel fabrication such as handrails, platforms, tanks, hoppers, tables, and ladders.
We provide our services to mechanical contractors and work on hospitals, industrial businesses, military facilities, universities, sports complexes, and medical research facilities. We also work under contract directly with many of these facilities.
We work with the skilled craftspersons of SMART Local 435 and are a member of SMACNA National and Florida SMACNA.
