Florida SMACNA, Inc. is a trade association of qualified sheet metal and air conditioning contractors dedicated to improving the quality of the construction industry in Florida.
We are an active chapter of the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association (SMACNA National), a nationwide network of chapters representing the leading voice in the specialty construction industry. SMACNA National's headquarters is in Chantilly, Va., just outside of Washington, D.C.
Florida SMACNA's expert contractors and their craftspersons are recognized as the most highly skilled and trained contractors in the industry. Florida SMACNA contractors work in the Sunshine State's foremost industries: aerospace, aeronautics, entertainment and theme parks, universities, hospitals, industrial facilities, and research laboratories, among others.

Florida members' employees are trained through a state-approved apprenticeship program delivered by three local Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committees (JATCs). Our expert training sets our contractors above the rest of the industry.
SMACNA National supports its members through management and leadership education, governmental affairs, labor relations services, safety and health resources, and technical services, including technical manuals and industry standards. SMACNA contractors can also contribute to the continual development and revision of these industry manuals and standards.
